Get ready to get spooky, as the latest MultiVersus leak shows that Beetlejuice and The Wicked Witch of the West may just be headed for the roster later on this year. Though nothing has been solidified as of yet, we might as well get ready for showtime, my pretty.
MultiVersus already sports some of the most well-known and iconic characters of all time, including Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and The Iron Giant. Over the last few days, there have been a few leaks in regards to the roster within the game, and we might just have to turn on the juice and see what shakes loose because Beetlejuice looks like he will be making his debut onto the roster very soon.
On top of that, an audio clip was leaked that allows us to hear the Wicked Witch of the West's voice lines, which brings back only the fondest memories of being scared out of our pants as she screeches about the flying monkeys in The Wizard of Oz. There was also a voice line of Beetlejuice in the game that read,
"You got a teammate named Deadman, right? I like that guy."
That voice clip was removed by the MultiVersus team pretty quickly, which may just add credibility to the fact that he will be making an appearance in the game sooner than we think.
More so, we got confirmation from none other than MultiVersus developers themselves of the previous leaks posted by @AisulMV, which stated that Stripe from Gremlins and Black Adam from DC would be added to the roster this year as well. They took to Twitter to leave a little note after they realized that their ad for the newest characters had gone live a little earlier than they expected, saying
"What's better than officially kicking off #MultiVersus Season 1? Announcing Black Adam and Stripe are also coming this season. You're welcome."
The smash-bros-style game has been making its mark within the gaming community, and it was almost instantly after its release. The game showcases some of the most nostalgia-inducing characters known to man, and from the looks of it, they show no signs of slowing down any time soon. While there is no specified release date for the spooky season characters, we will be sure to take special care of those ruby slippers while we wait for more information.
