Third-party developers released some brand-new and spiffy images of two vintage military aircraft coming soon for Microsoft Flight Simulator

We start with Aeroplane Heaven, which showcased its Hawker Hurricane Mk I in its Tropical version with the iconic Vokes air filter under the engine cowling.

Interestingly, the specific livery belongs to V7476, the only Hurricane MK I to ever make it to Australia and serve in the Royal Australian Air Force.

Speaking of the tropical variant, the developer also announced that the recently revealed Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb will also get its own Trop version with the Vokes.

You can see what it looks like below.

We also get new screenshots from Just Flight, specifically dedicated to its vintage bomber Avro Vulcan

Specifically, we get to see three different variants, the Vulcan B.Mk2 (first two screenshots), the B.Mk2 (MRR) marine radar reconnaissance version, and the K.2 air-to-air refueling variant.

Interestingly, the B.Mk2 in the first image is XM655, which is one of the few Vulcan aircraft still being maintained in running conditions and is currently visitable at Wellesbourne Airfield in the UK.

At the moment, we don't have a release date for this one either, but it shouldn't be too far.

It's worth mentioning once more that the navigation suite and charts provider Navigraph is currently hosting its annual Flight Simulation survey. If you want to contribute your opinion and insight to help the community get a snapshot of the swimming industry, you can do so at their official site.

As always, you should keep in mind that here on TechRaptor we publish daily Microsoft Flight Simulator news that will help you keep the finger on the pulse of what third-party developers are developing for the sim. Three years after release there are no signs of slowdowns.

As a matter of fact, the industry is more and more active with MSFS 2024 coming next year
