Media Molecule has announced two new projects under the Made In Dreams label. Ancient Dangers: A Bat's Tale is a co-op game developed internally at Media Molecule, while Tren is a "high-score chasing, track-building adventure" from Media Molecule's lead designer.
What is Made In Dreams, and what will it mean for Ancient Dangers: A Bat's Tale?
Made In Dreams is Media Molecule's label for games that have been created entirely within the Dreams creation suite. The developer announced Ancient Dangers: A Bat's Tale earlier today via Twitter, and we'll learn more about the game at the DreamsCom community convention later. It'll be the first of two new games in the "MM Originals" lineup. Media Molecule also released an official trailer, promising the ability to tackle Ancient Dangers solo or "double the chaos by teaming up with a friend". The trailer is pretty bare-bones; it's a teaser showing main characters Scoria and Gabbro delving into a dungeon along with their adorable bat friend.

Are there any other Dreams MM Originals in production?
As it happens, Media Molecule also announced another MM Originals game made entirely within Dreams. Tren is a "high-score chasing, track-building adventure" that comes to us from BeechCorp. Contrary to what you might believe, BeechCorp isn't really a separate developer; Tren is the passion project of Media Molecule lead designer John Beech, who was promoted to his position back in June. We don't know a lot about Tren yet; again, Media Molecule is promising more information about the game during the presentation later. If you're interested in Dreams, you'll want to make sure you tune into it.

Be sure to tune in to Media Molecule's Dreams stream at 12PM EST for more news about both of these projects. DreamsCom 21 consists entirely of Made In Dreams projects and will also offer a virtual show floor that you can explore within the game. Several creators will be hosting Dreams live streams over the next week or so, too, so if you're a Dreams fan, this is the week for you. If you've yet to discover its delights, you can grab Dreams on the PlayStation Store for PS4 right now. It's also playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
