Smilegate RPG has released the Lost Ark 2023 roadmap, where we see not only the already known Witcher crossover event but a new class, new battlefield, and more.
Previously, it was announced that Lost Ark and The Witcher would be meshing their separate worlds into one, and Geralt would be making his appearance in the MMO. When the information was released, we really only knew it would be coming at some point in 2023. The roadmap reveals that the Witcher event will be coming to the game in January 2023, with new event quests and encounters with the iconic characters from The Witcher series. There will also be new character customization options inspired by The Witcher, such as scars, cards, and other monster-slayer-type things.
The roadmap also showcases a new Advanced Class, The Artist, which will hit the game in April 2023. While one might think that slinging paint would be counterproductive, the description of this class is actually quite interesting. The Artist has the ability to paint beats to fight by their side or heal allies on the brink of death. Being mostly a support class with a small array of attacks, the Artist appears to be quite versatile and a nice addition to any party. Not only does this bring the new class itself, but it brings an entirely new class category with it; Specialists.
In March 2023, there will be a new battlefield heading to Lost Ark.Tulubik Battlefield will be a 48v48 PVP battleground with bases for each team to capture. There will also be side objectives to try to complete while being blindsided by the vast amount of enemies on the field, which personally seems pretty fun. Matches will only be held during certain times of the week and will feature two different types of matches. A regular match will feature the 96-player battleground with 48 players per side, and the friend match will be held when there are more than 40 players in waiting after the regular match has already begun.
