We now have some more information about what the upcoming Lost Ark Witcher crossover will entail. You'll get to meet several characters from the franchise and work alongside them to solve a puzzle that promises to span time and space, and there's plenty more up for grabs too.
The Lost Ark Witcher crossover was originally announced back in June, then teased for early 2023 a few weeks ago. Now, Smilegate and Amazon Games have given us a first look at exactly what we can expect from the crossover. Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, and other Witcher characters will appear on a special new island on which you can solve a rather intriguing mystery.
A portal has opened on the island of White Wolf's Haven, interrupting festivities. Geralt, as we know, hates it when the party stops, so he recruits you and his friends to help him figure out what the portal is and why it's opened. What follows is a puzzle that "spans time and space", according to Smilegate.
You'll be able to get your hands on new cosmetic items, new "character customization scars", and various other goodies including Stronghold structures and cards. Of course, this event will be available entirely for free, so all you need to do is log into Lost Ark and check out the new content when it drops.
Lost Ark is still regularly receiving content updates after its somewhat troubled launch back in February this year. New raids, classes, and more are continually being introduced to the game, with the upcoming December update adding a new Legion Raid and lots more. Suffice it to say that if it's been a while since you checked in, now would be a good time to fire up the game again.
You can play Lost Ark for free right now on PC via Steam. No date has been set for the Witcher crossover event yet, so watch this space for more info. While you wait, why not take a look at our Lost Ark guides so that you can make the most of this dizzyingly deep MMO?
