The Leisure Suit Larry games are now on Steam
Leisure Suit Larry is the original 40-year-old version, a hilariously out-of-place man who's trying to rid himself of virginity at any cost. His exploits have him traveling to the raunchiest locales he can find in the hopes that he can bed a buxom beauty, all while wearing his titular leisure suit (which wasn't really in style in the late '80s, much less today). Of course, things are never that easy, especially for a man as out of his element as Larry.
The games were originally published in the late '80s and '90s by Sierra, a purveyor of games of all stripes in the era ranging from fantasy role-playing adventures like Quest For Glory to tactical shooters like SWAT 4. Sierra folded as an operational publisher some time ago, and it's only now coming to Steam thanks to Assemble Entertainment putting the games on the platform. The Leisure Suit Larry games were a notable absence on the platform as a number of Sierra's other titles had already been published on Steam (and elsewhere) in recent years, though it's far from the only game or franchise that has yet to be made available again in the modern era.
Since the Leisure Suit Larry games are now on Steam, you can add them to your collection alongside other Sierra classics already available such as King's Quest. The bundle of games 1-7 will run you $21.35 or your regional equivalent. However, if you don't care about getting them on Steam and you're out to get the best deal, you can grab the lot for $16.98 over at GOG.com [Affiliate Link].
