THQ Nordic and Haemimont Games have confirmed a Jagged Alliance 3 console release.

The game, which launched for PC back in July, is heading to PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and you'll be able to play it on both current-gen and last-gen machines.

Unfortunately, there's no word on a Switch port for the game, so you're out of luck if you're looking to play it on Nintendo's console.

According to THQ Nordic, the game will retail at $59.99 across PlayStation and Xbox. We don't have a release window for it yet, though, so it might be a while before you can pick it up.

A new cinematic trailer was also released alongside the console announcement, showing some of the shenanigans Jagged Alliance 3's mercenaries get up to. You can check the trailer out here.

If you missed out on the hype, Jagged Alliance 3 is, as you might imagine, the third mainline installment in the Jagged Alliance series of tactical RPGs.

Boasting the involvement of original series creator Ian Currie, this third game takes place in the nation of Grand Chien, whose president has gone missing, leaving room for a paramilitary organization to seize control.

Across the course of Jagged Alliance 3's campaign, you'll manage a mercenary force, its equipment, and its combat tactics, as well as directly ordering your troops in turn-based battles.

The game is currently sitting at a Very Positive rating on Steam, with 92% of user reviews coming in as positive, and professional critics have been pretty kind to Jagged Alliance 3 as well.

You can pick up Jagged Alliance 3 right now on PC via Steam, and it's also available via GOG.

No console release date has been announced for the game yet, so stay tuned for more info on when you'll get to play Jagged Alliance 3 on consoles.
