While Immortals of Aveum by Ascendant Studios hasn't launched yet, Electronic Arts has jumped the gun a little bit and released its launch trailer.
The video starts with a quick introduction to the story and characters, and then moves into the nitty-gritty of the game, which is all about using magic to make things go "Boom."
And indeed, there appear to be a lot of ways to cause magical explosions in Immortals of Aveum, which is likely a perk considering the nature of the game.

Immortals of Aveum is coming as part of the EA Originals brand like the recently-released Wild Hearts, and will launch on August 22, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA App. The game was actually supposed to launch a weeks ago, but it has been delayed by a month or so.
