Publisher Astragon Entertainment and developer Chronos Unterhaltungssoftware are preparing to launch Firefighting Simulator - The Squad on Nintendo Switch.
Tomorrow, September 28, you'll be able to fight against the fire on Nintendo's hybrid console, and today you can get in the mood by watching the launch trailer.
The game features 40 missions that players can tackle alone or in co-op multiplayer, plenty of authentic firefighting equipment, and five officially licensed firefighting vehicles.
In single-player, your colleagues are controlled by the AI and you can give them orders via a command interface, while the game provides an advanced fire situation including elements like water, smoke, heat, backdrafts, flashovers, grease fires, and more.
The simulator is already available on PC and other consoles, and the Switch version will be priced at $34.99, €34.99., or £29.99 depending on where you live.
You can get it starting tomorrow both digitally and physically at select retailers.
You can take a look at the launch trailer below. Keep in mind that it says "out now" because we're able to exclusively reveal it 24 hours in advance.
If you're unfamiliar with the game it focuses on the following features.
⦁ Authentic firefighter equipment by well-known manufacturers – e.g. Cairns, MSA Safety G1 SCBA, Leatherhead Tools, and HAIX.
⦁ Officially licensed firefighting vehicles by Rosenbauer America
⦁ Comprehensive training which introduces players to the basics
⦁ Advanced fire simulation & physics system
⦁ Multiplayer with up to 4 players
