The location and dates of another Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival happening later this year in South Korea have been announced.
Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Seoul will happen at the Korea International Exhibition Center (commonly know as KINTEX) in Goyang, near Seoul. The dates are October 12 and October 13.
The event will be hosted in the Hall 9 of the venue, and more information about its schedule will be shared at a later date.
Final Fantasy XIV is handled independently in Korea by the local publisher Actoz Soft, and it's hosted separately from the international servers.
Due to that, we shouldn't expect massive news to come from the keynote, as it'll likely be dedicated mostly to introducing the next expansion titled Dawntrail to the local community, likely with a release date. While the expansion will launch in the summer on the international server, the Korean servers are behind by a number of months, so they'll get the expansion later.
That being said, this doesn't mean players outside of Korea have nothing to look forward to besides the show itself. At previous local fan festivals, we saw the introduction of new cosmetics that were initially exclusive to the South Korean servers but then were released for everyone after a while.

This follows the traditional trio of Fan Festivals for the three main regions in Las Vegas, London, and Tokyo.
In the meanwhile, western fans have something else to look forward to, as Naoki Yoshida will be at PAX East on March 22 and March 23. On the 23rd, he'll host a panel titled "Journey to Dawntrail: The 10-Year Adventure of Final Fantasy XIV" at 11:00 a.m. EST.
The 22nd will be dedicated to Final Fantasy XVI, with a panel at 11:30 a.m. EST focusing on the upcoming The Rising Tide DLC.
Final Fantasy XIV is currently available on PS5, PS4, PC, and Mac. An Xbox Series X|S version is coming this spring and an open beta just started earlier this week.
