Square Enix released a gallery of several brand-new screenshots showing off just how beautiful the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can be.
The screenshots, sent to TechRaptor via a press release, showcase the gorgeous world of the game, including the city of Kalm and its surroundings, which we also saw in motion in footage shared at Tokyo Game Show last week.
We also get to see combat scenes on top of features like Mercenary Quests and Fiend Sightings, and minigames like Mog's Hut, Piano Performance, and the Queen's Blood card game.
We also got a second beautiful piece of key artwork by creative director Tetsuya Nomura. It's similar to the art revealed a few weeks ago, but replaces Cloud and Zack with Tifa and Aerith.
You can check all the images out in the gallery below.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming for PS5 on February 29, 2024. It's likely that it'll be released on other platforms (or at least on PC) at some point, and the exclusivity window officially ends three months after launch.
You can check out our enthusiastic preview by our Erren Van Duine for more insight about the title. Having played the demo myself, I wholeheartedly share her opinion.
It's the direct sequel of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which was released in 2020 for PS4 and then relaunched as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for PS5 and PC in 2021.
