We're just a couple of months away from the release of Fallout London, the massive mod for Bethesda's Fallout 4, which will shift the setting to the devastated United Kingdom.
Today, the team behind the mod released an extensive new video showing some of the main aspects of the mod as the "final progress update" to show what the mod has to offer.
First of all, we get an explanation of just how massive the mod's world is, and there certainly will be a lot of explore.
We also take a look briefly at a wide array of weapons and collectibles, including a whopping 123 comic books. There seems to be a whole lot of interesting memorabilia to find and collect, as you would expect of London.
Another interesting segment showcases some of the characters that we'll meet and their voices, followed by an extensive look at the many factions that populate the devastated boroughs of London.
Fallout 4 is cuirrednly available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and if you'd like to know how good it is on its own, you can read our review that awarded it with an 8 out of 10.
That being said, do keep in mind that for now Fallout London has been announced only for the PC version of the game. A release on console is not planned, at the moment. We know that it'll release on April 23, 2024. It was previously slated for a 2023 release but it had to be delayed due to real-world conflicts affecting members of the development team.
It was originally announced in June 2021, and it certainly has made incredible progress since then. Fallout London' former head writer, Stephanie Zachariadis, has even been hired by Bethesda itself to work as a quest designer, which is certainly an indication of the quality that we can expect when the mod finally releases.
