Today Square Enix revealed two extremely different sets of figures portraying NieR: Automata's beloved heroine 2B.
Interestingly, the figures are placed on both ends of the price range. The first is from the Masterline line, created in collaboration with the renowned Prime1 Studio. It's currently up for pre-orders in Japan in Standard and Deluxe versions.
The price is blindingly expensive, 253,000 yen for the standard version and 275,000 yen for the deluxe version, which translate into approximately $1780 and $1935 at the current exchange rates. The release date fir both versions is March 31, 2024.
The difference is that the Deluxe version comes without the visor and and without the skirt, while the pose is also different. The price shouldn't be surprising as both figures are massive, coming in 1/3 scale and standing at 95cm in height, weighing over 20kg.

If you'd rather get something (much) less expensive, Square Enix also revealed two figures from the affordable FORM-ISM line.
Agfain, we get 2 B with visor and without visor available for pre-orders on Square Enix's store. The price is 4,950 yen each, translating into $32 at the current exchange rate.
The release date is February 24, 2024. Both figures stand at much more diminutive 18cm in height.
NieR: Automata is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It was originally released in 2017 only for PS4, and then it gradually received ports to other platforms until the latest one for Switch last year.
Quite recently, we learned that the game has sold 7.5 million copies. Our very own Sam Guglielmo praised the game's "unique, shocking, and interesting" story, boss fights, and music in our review of the original release. While we don't have specific information for now, its developers seem rather confident that another NieR game will be coming at some point.
