Today, during a livestream from Bitsummit Let's Go! in Kyoto, Japan, the developer of Eternights Studio Sai teased its next game.

In a livestreamed conversation with Sony Interactive Entertainment Head of Indies Initiative Shuhei Yoshida (who is a big fan of Eternights), Studio Sai founder Jae Hyun Yoo shared that he has a plan for the next project and he's going to start working on it pretty soon, with multiple developers joining the team.

Incidentally, Jae Hyun Yoo mentioned that Studio Sai at the moment is limited to three developers and he wouldn't work on a game with so few people again.

The next game will feature a similar situation to Eternights with people living in a dangerous world but still engaging in strong romance and deep relationships.

If you're unfamiliar with Eternights, it's a delightful mix between action game and dating sim inspired by the Persona series and more Japanese media. Jae Hyun Yoo explained during his conversation with Yoshida-san that he's waiting to see how Japanese gamers will react to the game considering its inspirations.

It will release on September 21, 2023, for PC, PS5, and PS4, as revealed during the PC Gaming Show last month, and will feature four completely different endings depending on your romance choices.

If you'd like to see more about the game, you can also check out another trailer and the previous one from February.
