Developer Rebellion, the team behind the Sniper Elite series and the Zombie Army trilogy, has a new title coming out to consoles and PC in the future, titled Strange Brigade.
Based on the Pulp Adventures from the 1930s, Strange Brigade is 4 player co-op title designed to mimic the action stories of yesteryear. Complete with "pulse-pounding action" to create a "rip-roaring adventure," players will embark on an exotic safari filled with danger and peril, filled with forgotten civilizations, treacherous tombs, and more as you fight exotic enemies and mysterious monsters.

Outside of the debut trailer, not much else was shown from Strange Brigade. Developer Rebellion has a website set up for the game, but thus far nothing outside of the trailer and a newsletter signup is available. Rebellion is, however, offering a contest for players to win their own copy of Strange Brigade for those willing to sign up for it.
Strange Brigade will be released sometime in the future for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Quick Take
The setting and style of Strange Brigade is already a winner, as it helps set apart the title from other games on the market right now. It also seems to not be taking itself too seriously, which makes sense considering the subject matter the game is emulating here.It is clear the game is designed with 4-player co-op as well, and the four character making up the strange brigade look just as quirky and colorful as the world they inhabit. Throw in some living statues, zombies, evil natives, and mummies and you got a pretty good action game on your hands. Hopefully, Rebellion is able to make Strange Brigade a fun co-op experience.
