Co-op shooter Strange Brigade is getting a Photo Mode and a new Extreme difficulty mode.

Both will be free to anyone who's already purchased the game, and they'll both be added as part of a free update later this month. Photo Mode sounds like a pretty typical screenshot-taking feature; players can pause play and use sliders to adjust things like focal distance, field of view, and aperture to line up the perfect shot. There will also be a variety of filters including Noir, Matinee, and Comic Book, amongst others, as well as borders to give screenshots extra creative flair.

Strange Brigade will also be receiving an all-new Extreme difficulty mode. Players who select this mode for the game's main story campaign can expect enemies with increased durability and damage, so they'll need to think on their feet if they want to survive. Rebellion says the mode is intended to help players "put their thinking caps on and get tactical", so don't expect to triumph unless your strategy is sound.

Both of these features will arrive on Monday 26th November alongside two new Score Attack levels - Afterlife II and Great Pyramid II - as well as a new Horde map named Void. These free updates come a day before the game's third Thrice Damned DLC arrives. A new campaign mission, Thrice Damned III: Great Pyramid of Bes, will be available to buy, as well as the Maharani Huntress Character Expansion Pack which features new playable character Anjali Khan. Both of these will be paid content, and they'll both be available to purchase on Tuesday 27th November.

Strange Brigade is a co-op shooter inspired by 1930s adventure serials. It was originally released back in August this year, and you can check out what we thought of it right here.
