Media Molecule's Dreams is a daring and unique title. The idea of having an empty space for players to unleash their wildest dreams, (pun intended), and build games and challenges for other players to try and overcome, skyscrapers, recreations of the world's most famous monuments, and much much more. Dreams went into early access on PlayStation 4 on the 16th of April earlier this year, and the developer is finally ready to close our this phase of the title's development.
However, Media Molecule always stressed how Dreams will always thrive by its community's contribution to the game's content and what players can do in it. That's why alongside the official announcement of ending Dreams' early access period, Media Molecule announced the IMPYs awards. The development team will pick a winner for each category listed below to honor those who put the time and effort during the early access period. A number of these awards will be voted on by the community themselves, which opens on Monday. All the results will be revealed on stream, scheduled for January 26th.

Now for those interested in when exactly does the early access shuts its doors, on December 7 at 3:59pm PST to be exact. "Anyone who has purchased Early Access by this date will still be able to play Dreams after the 8th and will upgrade to the full version of Dreams when it launches for no extra cost," as stated by the developer in their announcement.
