If you're looking for something new to try in Pokemon Unite, don't worry, because the game is getting lots of new content this month. Arguably the most exciting new addition is Dragapult, a stealth Pokemon joining the roster of Pokemon Unite. As an Attacker, you'll be able to dash across the battlefield at high speeds while also being able to ambush opponents. It sounds like a good example of the Rogue archetype, and if you've been looking for a new take on that, you'll be able to try Dragapult on December 29th when it officially launches.

All told, Pokemon have been added to the game at a decent pace, with Zoroark added only a month and a half ago alongside pumpkin battles and other Halloween goodies (and more Pokemon since). The game has also been downloaded 100 million times globally, which is huge, but it's also Pokemon, so it's not the biggest shock in the world, especially with the amount of support the game has been receiving.

You can see him... for now.

Speaking of support, you'll be able to choose either Red Team or Blue Team from December 26th to February 5th, 2023. If you decide to join either side and fight in their battles, you'll be able to earn points for your chosen team, which is pretty neat.

You'll also be able to enjoy Battle Pass Season 13, which is launching at the same time and runs through March 2nd, 2023. You'll be able to earn rewards such as a Dark Hero Style for Buzzwole and Dark Hero Set Trainer fashion items, along with Holowear that's available through the in-game store. There will also be other hero-themed events available throughout Battle Pass Season 13, so keep checking back in periodically.

Two new held items have just been added to the game as well in Rapid-Fire Scar, which increases your Pokemon's basic attack speed after three basic attacks, and Drain Crown. Drain Crown restores HP that's equal to the damage dealt with Attack-based basic attacks, so you'll be able to confound your foes with Pokemon that attack quickly and heal swiftly.

Last but not least, you can play as Urshifu, an All-Rounder Pokemon, right now. The Pokemon can be played in two different ways: either via Single Strike Style Urshifu, which is used to deliver single blows designed to cause as much damage as possible, or Rapid Strike Style Urshifu, which instead turns the Pokemon's playstyle into "drawn-out barrages." Maybe you can use Drain Crown to help your Rapid Strike Style Urshifu stay alive longer? You'll have to give it a try to find out.
