Today Activision released a new trailer of the next Crash Bandicoot game, Crash Team Rumble.

The trailer focuses on the gameplay offered by the beta that will start tomorrow, albeit you have to pre-order the game to gain access.

It'll feature five playable characters (Crash himself, Coco Bandicoot, Tawna, Dingodile, and Dr. Neo Cortex) and three maps, Tiki Towers, Calamity Canyon, and Just Beachy. The closed beta will be open until April 24.

The beta lets you play in 4v4 matches against other players, competing over which team can gather more Wumpa. You can check it out what it looks like below.

Crash Team Rumble will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on June 20, 2023. Cross-platform gameplay will be available.

The game is a 4v4 team-based multiplayer title in which players can play three different roles, Blocker, Booster, or Scorer to compete over who manages to grab more Wumpa fruits and get them in their drop-off zone while also hindering the opposing team. It's also a game-as-a-service with seasons, Premium Battle Passes, and all the trappings of the increasingly widespread GAAS business model.

If you'd like to learn more, you can check out the previous reveal, which also included another trailer.
