Today Activision released a new trailer of the next Crash Bandicoot game, Crash Team Rumble.
The focus is on one of the maps, named "Just Beachy" (pun obviously intended) as we follow Coco during an action until she scores.
Obviously, the map comes with a "beachy" theme, and you can check it out below. Incidentally, the video mentions explicitly that the game is running on PS5.
If you want to see more, you can also check older map trailers featuring Tiki Towers and Calamity Canyon.
Crash Team Rumble will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on June 20, 2023. Cross-platform gameplay will be available. A closed beta will also be hosted between April 20 and April 24, but you need to pre-order the game to gain access.
The game is a 4v4 team-based multiplayer title in which players can play three different roles, Blocker, Booster, or Scorer to compete over who manages to grab more Wumpa fruits and get them in their drop-off zone while also hindering the opposing team. It's also a game-as-a-service with seasons, Premium Battle Passes, and all the trappings of that business model.
If you'd like to learn more, you can check out the previous reveal, which also included another trailer.
