If you loved Bandai Namco's vampire Souls-like JRPG Code Vein, you may be happy to learn that it turned out to be rather successful.
Today the publisher announced on Twitter that the game has shipped three million copies worldwide, which is definitely not a number I'd scoff at.
We also get a bonus illustration to go with the announcement portraying Eva Roux, one of the characters of the game. You can check it out below.
#CodeVein has surpassed 3 million copies shipped worldwide, and it's all thanks to you.

Code Vein was released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2018, mixing anime-like visuals, post-apocalyptic and vampire themes, and unforgiving Souls-like combat. If you'd like to read more, you can enjoy our review.
The game is set in the near future after a calamity called the Great Collapse devastated the world. Players step into the role of fully customizable Revenants, basically artificial vampires that can die only if their hearts are destroyed and need to feed on human blood to avoid going berserk and turning into Lost.
Of course, not everything is as it seems, and the battles against the Lost will lead to finding out more about the nature of this warped world and the Revenants themselves.
Following the release of Code Vein, part of its staff moved on to work on another anime-style JRPG, Scarlet Nexus, which was also adapted into an anime series as part of Bandai Namco's new strategy of creating new transmedia IPs.
