If you've been a fan of Code Vein then good news, more is on the way next year. The three packs promised in the season pass will all be launching in early 2020.
So what will this DLC include? Well... we don't know. The most that we know is that the DLC will include new story, boss fights, customization, NPC costumes, stages, and more. There's going to be three packs. They're all planned for Early 2020. We know the names of the DLC are "Abyss of Thunder," "Abyss of Fire," and "Abyss of Ice." That's really about it. So they're a great big mystery, but at least they're an elementally themed mystery. More news will likely get announced closer to their actual release dates.
You'll at least get some Christmas tidings to tide you over. In December the game will get a free update with a few cosmetic goodies. It'll add some Christmas-themed costumes, accessories, emotes, dances, and poses. Does this mean you can dab for Santa? Probably not, but it's nice to think about. Also dabbing probably does not put you on the good list.
If you haven't gotten a chance to check the game out already, Code Vein is a third-person action game heavily inspired by the Souls series. The game features vampireish characters killing each other for all sorts of anime-inspired reasons. It launched to generally positive reviews, with many finding it to be an easier entry into a genre that typically is rather difficult to figure out.
Code Vein is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The season pass is available for $24.99.
