Today Amazon Games released a new trailer in English of the upcoming western release of Bandai Namco's MMORPG Blue Protocol.

The trailer provides a look at the story, playable characters, and playable classes with English voiceovers. It's worth mentioning that we just see the five initial classes here (Blade Warden, Twin Striker, Keen Strider, Spell Weaver, and Foe Breaker), while the Blitz Lancer is not included.

In case you missed it, the Blitz Lancer is a new class that will come to the Japanese servers in August.

Unfortunately, there's still no further news about the western release or the beta.

You can check the trailer out below, and get a sample of the English voice-overs as well.

If you're unfamiliar with Blue Protocol, it's a free-to-play anime-style MMORPG with a business model focusing on battle passes and cosmetics also available via gacha. It's already available in Japan for PC.

The western release was announced in December 2022 during The Game Awards and is coming in 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S following a recent delay. It will be published by Amazon Games, which is planning a PC beta for 2023.

While we wait, you can enjoy the impressive character creation and benchmark softwaresome more recent gameplay and details, and the opening cutscene featuring the song "Mirai" by the popular Japanese band L'Arc-en-Ciel.

You should also definitely check out our hands-on preview, in which our Robert Scarpinito highlighted Blue Protocol's most interesting points, describing how the game made him feel "like an anime action hero during a dramatic cliffhanger battle."
