Today Ubisoft released a new video dedicated to its upcoming Assassin's Creed game Assassin's Creed Mirage.
The video focuses on the developers talking about the game's hero, Basim, who is described as fitting the image of the classic assassin, deadly and resourceful, with a complex personality. The game is set to be a "strong narrative experience" that can honor Basim as a character.
We also see how Basim first appeared in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, acting as a mentor for Eivor. In Mirage we'll learn of his mysterious past and the reasons behind his actions. The game is set 12 years before its predecessor.
While you can enjoy the game without having played Valhalla or any other AC games, veteran players will enjoy a lot of secrets, Easter Eggs, and connections that they'll likely enjoy.
We don't just hear about Basim, but also about the other characters he'll meet in the game. You can watch it below.
Assassin's Creed Mirage releases on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12, 2023.
