An Animal Crossing datamine has revealed over 9,000 new items for Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update 2.0, giving players plenty of cool new clothes, furniture, and more to collect.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has proved to be an immensely popular game, quickly becoming the No. 2 best-selling Nintendo Switch game to date. Nintendo previously promised players that new content was on the way, and dataminers had already discovered some hints about Brewster. Last night, dataminers discovered what appears to be the full list of new items that are arriving in Update 2.0 -- and there's a ton of new goodies for you to get your hands on.
New Items Revealed in the Animal Crossing Datamine
The Animal Crossing datamine has revealed over 9,000 items between furniture, clothing, pictures, and other collectibles. That's certainly an impressive addition of content!
First, let's get some caveats out of the way: a lot of the new content is portraits of characters and clothing. There's plenty to see here, but the majority of this new content doesn't appear to be furniture at first glance.
Secondly, one mustn't forget about color variations in the game -- items can have as many as eight color variations, and many of the items here certainly have alternate designs. That brings the true total of unique items down to a few thousand at most when you exclude the color variants.
That said, there's plenty of interesting content to be found. This includes stylish elegant clothing, tons of posters for your wall, and pictures of popular characters.
