When first arriving at the citadel on Mount Qad you'll make your way through the Old Royal Road, but it's on its return that it will provide benefit in the form of several collectibles as well as a fight for the Lost Warriors quest. In this Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Old Royal Road Collectible Guide we will show you how to collect each Treasure, Coin, and Lore Collectible.
How To Reach the Old Royal Road?
In order to reach the Old Royal Road you'll need to have obtained the Shadow Claw ability which allows you to store explosive items and use them to break the walls with glowing yellow cracks. From The Haven head to the left until you reach where your adventure began and you'll find a tunnel leading down to the cracked wall. Make your way through this tunnel and on the other side you'll emerge into the Old Royal Road.

The Old Royal Road has the following collectibles:
Treasure
- Crimson Skin - On top of the broken building
About midway through the Old Royal Road, there's a structure. Climb to the top of it, near the large bird enemy, to find a chest with the Crimson Skin in it
Xerxes Coin
- Xerxes Coin #1 - Old Royal Road Lost Warrior Fight
To the left of the broken-down structure in the middle of the Old Royal Road, there's a Lost Warrior to fight. After defeating him you'll earn this Xerxes Coin
Lore
- Message Written With Trembling Hands - In the building to the left
Continue as far left as possible on the Old Royal Road until you're in a gateway building. The collectible will be on the ground in front of you.
