In this guide, we'll show you how the One Lonely Outpost Map works, how to unlock new regions, and what you can find in each area of the Map.
The planet you land on in One Lonely Outpost has never had human visitors. You'll be exploring new territory while you work on setting up a Colony, searching for Crafting resources and new Seeds for your Farm, but you'll need to know how to get around -- read on to learn more about the Map!
How to Unlock the Map in One Lonely Outpost
The Map is available by default in One Lonely Outpost. However, the various regions on the Map will not be revealed until you survey them. Upon entering a new area, you'll get an objective to travel to one or more Survey Points that are not indicated on the Map. Find them, and you'll permanently add that region to your Map.

The above image shows the region names along with icons for the Resources that you can expect to find in each Region. This does not include the Resources that you can find at the Mine in Inanna Falls once you unlock it.
Unfortunately, the One Lonely Outpost Map doesn't show you much in the way of useful information just yet. That said, it does inform you about when you've fully surveyed a new region and properly unlocked it.
