Final Fantasy XV is the fifteenth mainline installment in the long-running Final Fantasy series. After a long and troubled development history, it was finally released in 2016.
Its story revolves around Noctis Lucis Caelum, the prince of the land of Lucis. After the empire of Niflheim invades Lucis' capital Insomnia and steals its Crystal, Noctis must set out on a journey to retrieve the Crystal and defeat the Empire.
For the first time in the series' history, Final Fantasy XV has an open world to explore, complete with sidequests to discover and plenty of familiar monsters to defeat.
