Bloober team's biggest job to date is Blair Witch, a brand new chapter in the now 20-year-old Blair Witch franchise. Players will play as Ellis Lynch, a former police officer and military veteran, as he and his dog Bullet must navigate the creepy woods of Burkittsville, Maryland, as part of a search party hunting for a missing boy.
The woods, however, are the home of the notorious Blair Witch, a creature of legend is said to stalk and kill her victims, and corrupt the minds of others to do her bidding. Will Ellis survive the night? Or will the Blair Witch legend come true?
Players will control Ellis and Bullet as they navigate a semi-open world, searching for clues as to the missing boys whereabouts. Armed with only a flashlight, cell phone and walkie-talkie, Ellis must use Bullet effectively to survive, or succumb to the darkness of the woods once more.
Blair Witch is the first foray for publisher Lionsgate Games, based on their own popular movie franchise of the same name. Blair Witch is available for PC and Xbox One.
