We're nearing four years since Media Molecule's newest project, Dreams, was revealed at E3. The game recently opened itself to an invite-only beta, and one Twitter user posted a video exercising what Dreams can do. Posted as a short 33-second video, user Sergeant Bike showed that he had made PT in Dreams. It focused on the well-known hallway that played a central role in the Playable Teaser for Kojima's Silent Hills, which was canned when the company and creator had, to put it mildly, a dispute.

The video looks almost identical to the hallway from the original demo, which released only for the PlayStation 4. While it's nice to see footage of what the Dreams beta is capable of, the user in question broke a non-disclosure agreement to post it. The beta runs until Feb. 4.

Earlier this morning, Christophe Villedieu, a designer at Media Molecule, tweeted at the user who posted the video. Villedieu, while expressing how impressed he was with the footage, kindly asked the person to take down the tweet.

What makes PT so special is that, despite being a free demo, it's impossible to obtain the game again through official channels. Konami took the demo down, made it impossible to download even if you had previously added it to your account and since then, many fan-made versions of the game popped up. More recently, some thought Konami released a patch that would render PT unplayable for those who kept the demo, although that was proven untrue.

For those unfamiliar, Media Molecule developed the Little Big Planet games for the PlayStation 3 and 4. That franchise pioneered the build-your-own-level concept that Dreams is clearly taking to the next level. Although the capabilities of the upcoming title are unclear, seeing this function PT demo provides some insight regarding the possibilities players could achieve.

Dreams was revealed on Sony's stage at E3 2015, and since then, information has been slowly dripping out. In recent weeks, Media Molecule has been sharing more about the game. Expect to hear more about the game in the near future, considering we're in the midst of a closed beta and the game is slated for a 2019 release window.
