As Games Workshop expands its IPs further and further (recently we've had 40K Magic the Gathering cards and soon we're getting Warhammer stamps), one company has been producing Warhammer 40K action figures. JoyToy currently offers a huge range of 1/18th scale Warhammer 40K figures for a variety of factions, and in this article, we'll take a look at the Adepta Sororitas Celestine The Living Saint and her 2 guardian Geminae Superia.

We've already looked at some Imperial JoyToy forces, and you can check out our Adeptus Custodes Allarus Custodians Review and Adepta Sororitas Order of the Argent Shroud Review.

Who Are the Adepta Sororitas?

The Adepta Sororitas sometimes known as the Sisters of Battle, are the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy, the Church that worships the Emperor. They come clad in power armor and carry bolters, like the Space Marines, using them to protect the Emperor's interests. While they come armed and armored like the Space Marines, their equipment is slimmed down as while they are gifted and well trained, they aren't as augmented as the Adeptus Astartes warriors.  Their devotion to the Emperor allows them other blessings, and their faith is also a weapon.

What Are JoyToy Action Figures?

JoyToy action figures are a range of action figures for different IPs. Currently, they produce for Warhammer 40K, Infinity, and their own IPs Frontline Chaos and Dark Source. Most of their figures stand at around 5 to 6 inches, varying depending on the scale, feature incredible detail and intricate components and each action figure is fully posable.

How Easy Is It To Replace Parts and Pose JoyToy Adepta Sororitas Celestine and Geminae Superia Action Figures?

Almost all of the movable parts of all JoyToy figures involve a ball and socket. This is how the hands and heads are with the Adepta Sororitas Celestine and Geminae Superia, which allows them to be moved and posed. All of the weapons for the figures need a little force into the hands to ensure they're gripped properly, but the slightly rubbery nature of the material makes this easy enough, so don't be scared by the initial resistance when trying to put weapons into grips.

The Adepta Sororitas Geminae Superia, come with 2 weapons and 3 pairs of hands, allowing them to wield each weapon in both hands in a variety of poses. The Adepta Sororitas Celestine comes with a lot of accessories and all 3 come with arm stands to allow for their airborne poses.

Posing the figures is easy enough and the flying stands are sturdy and grip the Geminae Superia well, allowing them multiple airborne poses at different heights.

What Are Our Final Thoughts On The JoyToy Adepta Sororitas Celestine and Geminae Superia Action Figures?

The JoyToy Celestine the Living Saint is my favorite JoyToy figure so far. The detail in her wings and flowing scripture is fantastic, and the color of her eyes really pop. The 2 accompanying Geminae Superia look incredible while airborne beside her, and the flying bases are extremely versatile, allowing for different heights, and supporting the action figures well with great balance.

Should I Buy The JoyToy Adepta Sororitas Celestine and Geminae Superia Action Figures?

If you're an Adepta Sororitas collector, then you will want to add Celestine and the Geminae Superia to your collection. They're an incredible centerpiece, and really stand out against the rest of the line. Their airborne poses also make them visible against even the larger JoyToy units, with Celestine's eyes visible with the Emperor's light even at a distance.
