As Games Workshop expands its IPs further and further (recently we've had 40K Magic the Gathering cards and soon we're getting Warhammer stamps), one company has been producing Warhammer 40K action figures. JoyToy currently offers a huge range of 1/18th scale Warhammer 40K figures for a variety of factions, and in this article, we'll take a look at 3 of the brand-new Adepta Sororitas Order of the Argent Shroud Battle Sisters and their accompanying Paragon Warsuit.

Who Are the Adepta Sororitas?

The Adepta Sororitas sometimes known as the Sisters of Battle, are the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy, the Church that worships the Emperor. They come clad in power armor and carry bolters, like the Space Marines, using them to protect the Emperor's interests. While they come armed and armored like the Space Marines, their equipment is slimmed down as while they are gifted and well trained, they aren't as augmented as the Adeptus Astartes warriors.  Their devotion to the Emperor allows them other blessings, and their faith is also a weapon.

What Are JoyToy Action Figures?

JoyToy action figures are a range of action figures for different IPs. Currently, they produce for Warhammer 40K, Infinity, and their own IPs Frontline Chaos and Dark Source. Most of their figures stand at around 5 to 6 inches, varying depending on the scale, feature incredible detail and intricate components and each action figure is fully posable.

How Easy Is It To Replace Parts and Pose JoyToy Adepta Sororitas Order of the Argent Shroud Action Figures?

Almost all of the movable parts of all JoyToy figures involve a ball and socket. This is how the hands and heads are with the Adepta Sororitas Order of the Argent Shroud, which allows them to be moved and posed. The larger JoyToy figures have a thicker join, but the slimmer Adepta Sororitas have a smaller join on the end of a stem which allows their hands to be fitted and removed easily. All of the weapons for the figures need a little force into the hands to ensure they're gripped properly, but the slightly rubbery nature of the material makes this easy enough, so don't be scared by the initial resistance when trying to put weapons into grips.

All of the Order of the Argent Shroud come with helmed and unhelmed options, which are easy to change.

Posing the figures is easy enough, it's advisable to fit the weapons and align them before finding the balance with the leg position.

What Are Our Final Thoughts On The JoyToy Adepta Sororitas Order of the Argent Shroud Action Figures?

The 3 Order of the Argent Shroud Battle Sisters and the Paragon Warsuit are extremely well-detailed despite their smaller stature against the rest of the line. They've made the 3 unhelmed faces look unique, and with the heads also interchangeable, you can mix the heads from the rest of the Adepta Sororitas line to have several full unique units of Battle Sisters. The Paragon Warsuit looks great beside the sisters and I love the detail along the huge Paragon War Blade. The other two available Paragon War Suits come with extra head options, and it's a shame this one didn't. Sister Superior Evinka's armament options are great and the option to wield or sheath the sword adds superb detail. All of Bolter's magazines can also be removed, which is an insane detail to have on the action figures.

Should I Buy The JoyToy Adepta Sororitas Order of the Argent Shroud Action Figures?

If you're a fan of the Adepta Sororitas, then you'll love these. There are a few Orders available in the JoyToy Adeptus Sororitas range and their level of detail is the same. The fact that their weapons and heads are interchangeable means that you can mix and match your units. The 1/18th scale really highlights the smaller stature of the Adepta Sororitas against the Chaos Space Marines making their determined faith even more impressive in the face of their enemies. The slightly smaller joins for the hands makes changing them very quick for earning your sisters.
