Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

Corvus Belli recently announced the start of ITS season 8 on September 1st, following the conclusion of the 2016 Interplanetario tournament. This season will be a bit different from previous years, with the company promising a more dynamic season by releasing new rules and events throughout the season. At the start of the season, Infinity players now have the new Capture and Protect mission along with the new Limited Insertion modifier, restricting players to only one combat group. The complete 2016 ITS season document is available from the Corvus Belli website.

Forge World has released upgrade kits for the Secutarii Titan Guard. The kits allow Warhammer 40K players to convert a unit of Skitarii Rangers troops into either Secutarii Hoplites or Peltasts. A set of experimental rules for both Titan Guard units are available as a .PDF from Forge World here.

The Kickstarter campaign for the second edition of Blackwater Gulch is underway. A skirmish game set during the Gold Rush from mid-19th century America, the game focuses on small groups of gangs duking it out in towns and the wilderness for land and gold. The second edition will introduce three new factions: the vigilante Unsung, the sinister Wicked, and the fiercely territorial Wormwood Wardens. The campaign is currently at over $15,000 USD of its $20,000 USD goal with 20 days remaining.

And finally, Games Workshop has released several long-awaited Chaos expansions and models. Black Crusade: Traitor’s Hate is a campaign supplement focusing on the start of the 13th Black Crusade and adds new rules and formations for the faction, along with new psychic disciplines and complete rules for the long-awaited Renegade Knights. This week also saw the release of the plastic Void Shield Generator kit and an updated Khârn the Betrayer plastic miniature. All releases listed are available for pre-order and will be in stores on September 10th.
