Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

First up is Corvus Belli’s rather busy week with announcements for Infinity (both tabletop and RPG versions) as well as Aristea! The company announced today the release of ITS Challenges for ITS season 9. These challenges are a series of narrative-driven events available for a short time that will ultimately have an effect on the Infinity storyline overall. The first challenge, B4CK00R Crisis, will focus on a list of people in the Human Sphere accused of collaborating with the invading Combined Army that was stolen by an anti-establishment group currently on the run. The launch of the ITS Challenges begins next Monday, January 29th.

In Aristea! news, Corvus Belli has also released a new preview of the upcoming Soldiers of Fortune expansion. This expansion will focus primarily on the more minor league players of the game, bringing in four additional miniatures (Senor Massacre, Valkyrie, Laxmee, and Hannibal), two new states (Focused and Stunned), and four entirely new tactics cards for the new characters. The Soldiers of Fortune expansion will launch on March 23rd with an MSRP of 29.99€ EUR.

Rounding out our Corvus Belli news is an announcement from Mophidius Entertainment regarding the anticipated Infinity role-playing game. The core rulebook for the game, along with the Player’s Guide and Adventures in the Human Sphere mission book are now available for general purchase. The books are available separately as PDF files or in one massive print bundle that includes every book that was unlocked during the Kickstarter campaign for a whopping $529.99 USD. All Infinity RPG materials are currently available from the Mophidius Entertainment web store.

In Kickstarter campaign news, Cool Mini or Not’s newest board game Hate is currently going through its crowdfunding campaign and has already blown past it’s $200,000 goal. Set in the dark and unrelenting world from the “Chronicles of HATE” graphic novel by artist Adrian Smith, players will take control of a tribe of brutal and savage warriors seeking utter and complete domination of their foes through judicious use of chopping, stabbing, torture, and cannibalism to ensure domination over the wastelands where they scrabble for survival. For people not entirely interested in the board game, it’s worth taking a look at Hate simply for the miniatures; these would make an excellent addition to any Khorne-themed army. The crowdfunding campaign, at the time of writing, sits at over $644,000 USD of its modest $200,000 USD with 19 days to go.

Games Workshop has spent this last week discussing the upcoming Adeptus Custodes army on the Warhammer Community website to build hype around the pre-orders coming tomorrow. The Adeptus Custodes, personal bodyguards of the Emperor himself, have been secluded within the Imperial Palace on Terra ever since the end of the Horus Heresy. Events in the galaxy have become so dire for the Imperium, however, that the Custodes have been sent forth from the Imperial Palace to bolster the remaining Imperial forces and stem the tide of Chaos that is seeping throughout humanity’s domain. The previews cover the heroes, troops, war machines, elites, and strategems available to the newest Warhammer 40K army. Pre-orders for the Adeptus Custodes model line will go live tomorrow, January 20th on the Games Workshop site.

Steamforged Games has released preview images of the first Minor Guild for Guild Ball. Minor Guilds are offshoots of the main guilds of the game and will feature similar overall themes within them. This preview focuses on the Ratcatcher’s Guild, a Minor Guild affiliated with the Morticians. Details on the Ratcatcher’s Guild are sparse at the moment; all we currently have are the images of the miniatures beautifully painted by Studio Giraldez. Stay tuned for more Guild Ball information in the upcoming weeks,

And finally, Raging Heroes has released a new Lust Elves heroines box from their latest Kickstarter campaign, featuring what might be the most unique and disturbing centaur model currently on the market. Senshyrha and Keshyrii are now available in either Sci-fi or Fantasy flavors in their own heroines box. Picking this box up today will net players with a nice 17% discount over purchasing them separately, so be sure to grab one today. The company is also running a promotion offering the chance to get an unreleased Sisters of Eternal Mercy miniature with heavy machine gun when you spend 99 EUR or more.
