HoYoverse, which you may know for Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, just launched the second beta test for its new action RPG Zenless Zone Zero

The test, which requires an invite, is titled "Equalizing Test" and was announced a few weeks ago

On the other hand, we don't know when the beta will end, with HoYoverse asking players to keep an eye out for further information.

Zenless Zone Zero Belbog Heavy Industries Characters

The start of the test was accompanied by a new trailer focusing on the characters of Belbog Heavy Industries, Koleda Belbog, Grace Howard, Ben Bigger, and Anton Ivanov.

We also briefly take a glimpse at the members of Gentle House AKA Cunning Hare, Billy Kid (who got two trailers of his own recently), Nicole Demara, and Anby Demara.

You can see them all in action below.

The trailer is very colorful and rather explosive, showing once more HoYoverse's cinematic prowess. You rarely see a trailer of theirs which isn't at least good.

If you'd like to read plenty more information about Zenless Zone Zero, at Gamescom in Cologne I interviewed the producer Zhenyu Li, who provided us with a ton of interesting details about the upcoming game.

For those unfamiliar with it, it's coming initially for PC, iOS, and Android, and it doesn't yet have a full release date.

It'll distinguish itself from other HoYoverse games by being a full-fledged action RPG set in an urban fantasy world, and the developers want to provide players with more control, leaning less into having to pick the right element to fit an enemy's weaknesses.

Of course, it's going to be free-to-play, so you'll be able to try it out without having to spend a dime. On the other hand, we can likely expect plenty of microtransactions and gacha to keep it funded. That's simply the nature of the beast.
