Xbox has revealed the games coming as part of the Xbox Game Pass October 2023 Wave 1 lineup.

Only six games are headed your way in the next couple of weeks, but there are some pretty heavy hitters in there, so you shouldn't want for entertainment.

First up, starting today, you can enjoy Gotham Knights on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud. The game was scheduled to arrive on Xbox One at one point as well, but was canceled for last-gen platforms last year.

Today also sees the release of turn-based tactics RPG The Lamplighter's League, which, like Gotham Knights, is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud.

Starting from tomorrow, you can play grimdark first-person shooter Warhammer 40k: Darktide on Xbox Series X|S and cloud as well. Praise the Emperor!

Warhammer 40k: Darktide is finally coming to Game Pass on console tomorrow.

Following Darktide, on October 10th, you can look forward to racing sim Forza Motorsport hitting Game Pass on day one. It's shaping up to be an essential racer if you're a gearhead.

On October 12th, you can play alien shooter From Space on PC, console, and cloud. The game sees you and up to three friends teaming up to mow down alien hordes together. If you prefer more cartoony fare, this might clinch it over Darktide for you.

Finally for this first October wave, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is coming to Game Pass on October 17th, and it's playable across PC, console, and cloud.

It's a rather curious spinoff of the popular Like a Dragon franchise (formerly known as Yakuza), in which familiar faces "play" new characters in a story set in the late Edo period of Japan. Make sure to check it out if you love Like a Dragon; it's worth your time.

Of course, several games are also departing Xbox Game Pass soon, so here's everything leaving the service on October 15th.
