Wargaming has announced a new World of Tanks Dune crossover, and it's bringing iconic Dune characters as crew members, a new tank to get your hands on, and more.

Just like with Wargaming's Megadeth crossover last yearDune-themed content - or, to be more specific, Dune: Part Two-themed content - is coming to all three major World of Tanks games.

First up, in World of Tanks on PC, you'll be able to recruit Gurney Halleck, Rabban, and Lady Jessica as crew members for your tank, and a new tank inspired by Dune's iconic ornithopter vehicles will also be available.

I bet the Atreides family wishes it had used this tank.

You can also look forward to new decals and styles, some of which feature what Wargaming calls "soon-to-be-iconic lines" from the upcoming Dune: Part Two. This event is being held between February 15th and 25th.

Over in World of Tanks Blitz, between February 23rd and March 7th, you can get new hooks, a profile background and avatar for Gurney Halleck, and new quests based on Rabban and the Fremen, as well as a new tank (because of course).

Lastly, from March 5th, World of Tanks Modern Armor will feature a brand new community event that will allow you to unlock Gurney Halleck, Rabban, and Sardaukar Warrior Commanders. If you're on console, you'll also be able to grab Rabban as a 3D Commander.

Between these World of Tanks crossovers and last September's full release of the RTS Dune: Spice Wars, it's a good time to be a Dune fan right now.

Thus does Dune join the illustrious ranks of games and IPs with which World of Tanks has crossed over. Others include Silent Hill, the WWE, and, uh, Chuck Norris.

World of Tanks is available to play for free right now on PC via SteamWorld of Tanks Blitz is available across PC, mobile devices, and Nintendo Switch, and World of Tanks Modern Armor can be played on PlayStation and Xbox.
