Koei Tecmo has revealed the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty PC requirements, and you'll need a decent card if you want to run it in 4K at 60fps. The game's different console gameplay modes have also been unveiled, as well as extra info about the upcoming demo and plenty more.

This comes via an FAQ added to the official Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty website. There, the minimum and recommended PC specs are revealed, with the minimum specs targeting 720p at 30fps (good luck finding a self-respecting PC gamer who'd settle for that) and the recommended specs aiming for 1080p at 60fps. DLSS and XeSS support will also be added to the game in a post-launch patch. Here's a full rundown of the PC specs.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - minimum PC specs (720p, 30fps)

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
  • 8GB RAM
  • GeForce GTX 1650 4GB or Radeon RX 570 4GB
  • 60GB HDD storage space
  • 16-bit stereo sound card with 48KHz WAVE support

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - recommended PC specs (1080p, 60fps)

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT
  • 16GB RAM
  • GeForce RTX 2060 6GB or Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB
  • 60GB HDD storage space
  • 16-bit stereo sound card with 48KHz WAVE support

In addition, Koei Tecmo says that if you want to run Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at 60fps in 4K, you're going to need a GeForce RTX 3080 12GB, and that's with the game's graphics set to Standard mode. The studio doesn't specify which processor it used to achieve that result, though. The PC frame rate will be capped at 120fps, and the Steam Deck isn't supported.

A shadowy general riding towards the camera in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is pretty demanding at 4K in 60fps.

As well as the PC specs, we also got a look at the console modes, which should give you a range of options when it comes to how you want Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty to look and play. As you'd expect, the PS5 and Xbox Series X both target 60fps and have a max 4K output resolution (the Series S aims instead for 1440p), and these next-gen platforms also have Resolution and Performance modes.

PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will both target 30fps in 4K, while the base PS4 and Xbox One consoles will aim for full HD resolution (1920x1080) at 30fps. It sounds like you should have a pretty stable experience no matter where you're playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which is good.

There's lots of other info in the FAQ as well. If you get the PS4 or Xbox One versions of the game, you can upgrade to the current-gen versions at no extra cost. Multiplayer crossplay is possible between PS4 and PS5, and between different Xbox platforms and the Microsoft Store, but crossplay between different hardware isn't supported. It's well worth reading the full FAQ to get the lowdown on other stuff like gameplay details, character creation, and lots more.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty arrives on PC, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox platforms on March 3rd, and it'll be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass on day one as well. A new demo for the game is arriving in two weeks' time, giving you another chance to get to grips with this mythological Soulslike action game. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for more Wo Long info.
