The Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Chapter 3 patch notes have arrived! This latest batch of new content adds a new map and makes some other neat changes to the game.

Central to this update is the addition of the new "Enchanter's Lair" map seen in our header image. Players can expect to encounter the terrifying Nurgloth the Eternal in this map. The developers detailed this frightening enemy in a recent developer update:

So, what I’m hearing is that Nurgloth the Eternal is the Rotbloods’ chief soothsayer and Burblespue Halescourge’s chief rival. Seems that while Halescourge keeps his squalid little throne because of those rotten little sorceries of his, Nurgloth can see the future … or bits of it, at least. Yeah, because that’s never gone wrong for anyone. My contacts reckon he’s even caught glimpses of the Realm of Chaos, so it’s safe to say that the poor bugger’s mad as a goblin doomdiver, on top of everything else.

What Else Has Arrived with the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Chapter 3 Patch Notes?

Of course, there's more to this update than just a new map for players to enjoy! Three new missions are also arriving as part of Season 2 content and it will be available for free to all current owners of the game.

Righteous Stand, Old Haunts, Taal's Horn Keep, and Weaves have each received several fixes to their map geometry, so players can expect some improved gameplay on those maps. In particular, culling issues have been addressed on multiple maps to improve overall optimization. Of course, there have been gameplay tweaks as well. Torches can now block arrows, giving players just a little more cover in a game where every hit matters.

You can read all the fine details in the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Chapter 3 patch notes, but that's not all! The game is also on sale for 75% on Steam, so it's never been a better time to get into the action! You can take advantage of this discount until March 30, 2020.
