Today Riot Games revealed the new agent that will soon appear in Valorant with a new trailer providing a look at her gameplay.
The new agent's name is Deadlock and she hails from Sweden. She's described as an adaptive Sentinel Agent equipped with an arsenal of cutting-edge nano-wire tech.
Apparently, her name is quite indicative of her abilities, as she can pretty literally lock enemies into place, making them vulnerable.
You can check out the trailer below.
Deadlock will launch as part of Episode 7 Act 1, and we already know that her story trailer will be released tomorrow during the finals of the Valorant Masters competition in Tokyo.
Valorant is currently available exclusively for PC. If you want to learn more about what's coming for the game, Riot Games recently revealed a new competitive system that is currently being tested before its official debut. Another agent, Gekko, has also been released fairly recently.
Recently, Riot Games made a deal with Microsoft to offer some perks to Game Pass members, including all current Agents, Day-one access to every new Agent as they're released, and 20% Match XP Boost applied to Battlepass, Event Pass, and active Agent Contract progress. That being said, this applies only to PC, and at the moment there has been no word about any release of the game on Xbox.
