Microsoft Flight Simulator Texan 2 & Miramar Base

Third-party developers had quite a few news to share about Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, on top of a couple of scenery releases.

We start with an announcement from Sundowners Simulation simulations, which announced Naval Air Station Miramar (KNKX).

The eagle-eyed among you likely noticed that I said "Naval Air Station" and not the current designation Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. That's because this is a reproduction of the base in the eighties, perfect for the F-14 Tomcat pilots out there who want to re-enact Top Gun.

This is coming soon to both PC and Xbox.

Next, Iris Simulations had to delay the release of the Beechcraft T-6 Texan II, but revealed the liveries that will be included at launch with the aircraft. At the moment, the developer is aiming for a launch in the upcoming weekend.

We then get to see a trailer of Fly2High's upcoming Jacksonville International Airport (KJAX) in Florida, United States.

Moving on to releases, here's an interesting one from Cli4D, Philippines: A Tropical Adventure, which enriches the scenery of the northern top of the Philippines for the tourists among us.

It's currently available on Orbx Direct and Simmarket for $10.66, promising the following features.

  • Kilometers of rocky coastline
  • Mountain roads(tarmac and gravel)if you prefer driving
  • Lots of waterfalls and rivers.
  • Short grass landing strips
  • Beach Resorts
  • Tropical vegetation
  • Lots of helipads

Lastly, we get the release of Santo Ângelo Airport (SBNM) in Brazil by Onehundred Simulations.

You can find it on Simmarket for $10.28 including the following features.

  • All customized buildings and constructions
  • High quality PBR textures
  • Custom car models
  • Animations
  • Realistic airport layout
  • terraforming throughout the airport
  • Customized satellite images around the airport

And that's it for today. As usual, here on TechRaptor we publish daily news about Microsoft Flight Simulator and its addons, so make sure to come back tomorrow for another round.
