Today third-party developers had news and reveals to share about upcoming Microsoft flight Simulator add-ons, including aircraft and screnery.
We start with a classic and it's Iris Simulations' Beechcraft T-6 Texan II we learn that the famous trainer will be released on Halloween.
It's worth mentioning that there are two Texan II renditions incoming. The other one by Blackbird Simulations doesn't have a release date just yet.
Next, we move on to scenery with Drzewiecki Design sharing the first actual screenshots of King County International Airport (KBFI) also known as Boeing Field near Seattle, United States.
The airport was teased yesterday, but today we get the confirmation (if it was ever needed) and the first look at the airport and the inevitable Museum of Flight and Boeing facilities which give it its name.
For something completely different, we see more work-in-progress screenshots of Miyako Airport (ROMY) in Japan by Gate15Scenery.
We learn that all modeling is complete and the developer is now moving on to texturing. Interestingly, they're going to include the iconic Japan Transocean Air tugs painted in the unique whale shark livery reproducing the cute paint job that appears on some of its 737s.
And another day is done. If you're a regular reader, you probably know that here on TechRaptor we host daily Microsoft Flight Simulator news to help keep everyone updated on the sim's countless add-ons. If you aren't, welcome to the club.
With the holidays and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 coming next year, it's likely that the news will only come in thicker going forward.
