If you're a fan of CRPGs, you're about to have something new to play very soon — the Solasta Early Access release date has just been locked in for October 2020.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a turn-based RPG in the style of the classic Dungeons & Dragons computer games and set in an original universe. It's been in development for quite some time — and we'll be able to play it a lot sooner than we might have expected.
Take a peek at the Solasta: Crown of the Magister Official Release Date Trailer to see what you'll be able to play next month:
Solasta: Crown of the Magister takes all of the standards of D&D gameplay and wraps them in a shiny, modern package. You'll have to roll for initiative, choose your attacks carefully, and navigate treacherous scenarios filled with deadly monsters.
This upcoming game is the product of a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising €243,855 of a €180,000 goal. That success may have contributed to a later licensing agreement with Wizards of the Coast that will allow Solasta to use the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 ruleset.
While this isn't technically a Dungeons & Dragons game, it will essentially be playing by the same rules. Now, this fantastic RPG with a wonderfully-designed combat interface is getting ready to launch on Steam Early Access in just over a month!
When is the Solasta Early Access Release Date?

PAX demo aside, you'll be able to dive into the world of Solasta in about six weeks. If this is the sort of game you love to play, you can add Solasta: Crown of the Magister to your wishlist on Steam.
