Flash in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

At The Game Awards 2022, the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League release date was announced for May 26, 2022. DC fans looking forward to playing as the Suicide Squad won't have that much longer to wait as the game will be available this May.

Warner Bros. Games and DC released a new cinematic trailer that gave players a taste of what to expect when the full game releases. Showcasing a showdown with The Flash and an ever-darker take on Batman, The Suicide Squad reveal took an unexpectedly emotional turn when it was punctuated by the vocal talents of longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy, who passed away recently.

It's unclear how heavily involved Conroy's Batman will be as part of the Kill the Justice League story, but it's looking like his character could be a major focus for fans looking to get their hands on this game in May. The latest Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League cinematic trailer showed Batman ready to go up against Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.

Given that Kill the Justice League is from the same creators as the Arkham games, which Kevin Conroy was also proud to be part of, it makes sense that he would return for this role. Not to mention the many times over the course of his career he has raved about how much he loves playing Batman and what the character means to him.

The Kill the Justice League trailer ended with a tribute to Kevin Conroy, making this reveal both a release date announcement and an in-memoriam piece.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be the final performance by Conroy as the dark knight, so fans of his work will have plenty to look forward to when the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League release date arrives on May 26, 2022, and be available globally on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
