Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - Joker

Today Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games revealed what players can expect from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in terms of post-launch content.

We hear from the developers that the game will have "one of the most generous, player-friendly, post-launch experiences available."

Seasonal content will be made available for free to all players who purchase the base game, and the paid shop will only include cosmetics.

We get to see a lot of the customization options that will be introduced in the game and hear about the fact that post-launch content revolves around Elseworlds, basically the game's own DC-themed multiverse with plenty of new characters and stories to explore.

The first season will launch in March 2024 and will introduce the first new playable character, The Joker. Yet, this is another universe's Joker, a bit different from the original.

Additional content will include new boss fights and enemy variants, a new playable environment, 2 new episodes, new weapons and gear inspired by DC villains, new Riddler content, new activities and strongholds, and more.

Seasons between 2 and 4 will include 3 more playable characters and 3 environments, more weapons, more themed gear sets, and more activities. There will also be mid-season updates.

Of course, there will be online features including leaderboards, and your friends will be able to annoy you with popup screens showing when they have beaten your score.

If you want to take a look and hear it directly from the developers, you can watch the full video below.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release next month on February 2, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, following a delay announced in April 2023.
