EA has announced a brand new Stuff Pack for The Sims 4, and it's arriving next week, giving your Sims a chance to adorn themselves in some seriously sparkly jewellery.

The Crystal Creations Stuff Pack does pretty much exactly what it says on the tin; it features a new jewellery system in which your Sim can learn to create their own beautiful accessories.

The Gemology skill doesn't just allow your Sim to collect resources and craft jewellery, though; they can also charge up that jewellery in moonlight to bestow a range of effects on them. EA is promising 27 different effects to look forward to, so make sure to experiment to see what you can give to your Sim.

The Sims 4's new Crystal Creations Stuff Pack is adding an entirely new profession to the game.

As well as the new Gemology profession and the associated accouterments, Crystal Creations is also adding "everything you need to create a cozy workroom for your Sims to craft in", as well as new Create-a-Sim items, some of which were designed in conjunction with Sims player and community member Arethabee.

While this Stuff Pack may not be as substantial as Expansion Packs like For Rent and Horse Ranch, it should give your Sims a new lease on life and give you an excuse to go back and play more The Sims 4. What more could you want?

You can check out the official reveal trailer for Crystal Creations, which shows some of the things your Sims can create, right here.

The Crystal Creations Stuff Pack launches for The Sims 4 on February 29th (that's next Thursday) at 10am Pacific, or around 1pm Eastern.

You can grab The Sims 4 right now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and, of course, the game is also playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility. Stay tuned for more on all things The Sims 4-related.
