Stormworks: Build and Rescue, a game where you create your own sea rescue vehicles from scratch, has been announced by Green Man Gaming Publishing and Sunfire Software in a press release.
Players will set out to save lives on the high seas in Stormworks: Build and Rescue. You're tasked with managing a sea-rescue service, an organization that rapidly responds to water vessels in distress. Vehicles are created in a block-based building system and can be customized with logic programming as well as cosmetic features such as paint. Whether you create a boat, a helicopter, or something else entirely, your job will be to head out to sea in all sorts of weather to rescue people in distress in the water.

After creating a vehicle, you'll be tasked with a variety of missions ranging from benign cargo runs in sunny, calm seas to intense rescue missions in the midst of a maelstrom. Whatever vehicle you create, you'll pilot it yourself in your efforts to move cargo and save lives. The game will feature a day-night cycle as well as dynamic weather, and a physics-based displacement-buoyancy system will make navigating rough seas all the more challenging.
No release date or price has been announced as of yet. The game will initially release in Steam Early Access.
