Pop singer Rina Sawayama has revealed that she's designing her very own Marvel's Spider-Man 2 suit.

The suit will "launch in-game", according to Rina herself. It'll be added to the game after launch, so you might have to wait a little while to see Peter and Miles rocking Rina's fashions.

Rina, who's best known for hits like "XS", "This Hell", and "STFU!", announced this development via her official X account, where she described herself as "pumped" to see the suit debut in the upcoming open-world superhero epic.

She's designing her suit alongside fashion personality KidSuper, which she describes as "another added layer of WTF".

As well as Rina, KidSuper is also teaming up with Brazilian footballer Vini Jr and McLaren Formula One driver Lando Norris, both of whom will get their own suits in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 as well.

Rina Sawayama's Marvel's Spider-Man 2 suit will presumably be a bit more edgy than the standard offerings.

In a snippet of Rina's conversation with KidSuper, we hear her referring to "leather and motorbike jackets", indicating this could be what she's got in store for her Spider-Man suit.

However, it looks like we'll just have to wait until the suit, as well as those designed by KidSuper's other partners, appears in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Insomniac's new web-slinging superhero game is due to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 20th.

It returns to the stories of Peter Parker and Miles Morales and will feature iconic villains like Kraven the Hunter, Venom, and Lizard, as well as expanded combat mechanics and exploration systems.

You can also look forward to three different frame rate settings, all of which will support ray tracing, according to Insomniac.

The game may be a few days away from launch, but our very own Andrew Stretch's review is already out there, and if he's anything to go by (which he usually is), it's another smash hit for Insomniac.

Stretch praises the game's improved traversal, surprising story, and dense world, so if you're a Spider-Man fanatic, it looks like this one's going to be another time sink.
