Sony and Insomniac Games have announced two new Marvel's Spider-Man 2 suits, and although you'll need to pay for these, it's all for a good cause.

The Fly N' Fresh Suit Pack was designed by artists working with Gameheads, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underrepresented students break through in the tech industry.

You'll need to hand over $4.99 if you want the suits, but 100% of the profits (up to a total of $1 million) will go to Gameheads, so you're not just lining Sony's pockets with this one.

The new Gameheads-designed suits will be paid DLC, but it'll be worth it.

As well as the Fly Suit for Peter and the Fresh Suit for Miles, the DLC will also contain several new photo mode stickers and two new photo mode frames to help you line up the perfect shot.

Per an accompanying blog post, the Fly N' Fresh suits were inspired by the 90s; Peter's Fly Suit's chief inspiration was "90s television", while Miles' Fresh Suit was inspired by "90s b-boy" looks.

You can check out a trailer for the partnership between Sony and Gameheads, which also goes into some of the work that Gameheads does, right here.

The new suits will arrive as paid DLC on March 7th, which is also when you'll get to experience the New Game Plus mode that's arriving as part of a major update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

In addition to New Game Plus, the update will also bring new free suits to the game, as well as extra accessibility options in the form of Audio Descriptions and a Screen Reader feature.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launched in October last year. It's quickly become one of the PlayStation 5's most popular games, selling 10 million copies at last count.

It's also forming the basis for a new Insomniac Marvel gaming universe, which will also contain the upcoming Marvel's Wolverine. Arkane's upcoming Blade game, however, is unlikely to form part of this universe's connective tissue, since that studio is a subsidiary of the Xbox-owned Bethesda.

You can grab Marvel's Spider-Man 2 right now exclusively on PlayStation 5. The Fly N' Fresh Suit Pack DLC will be available on March 9th for $4.99. Check out our review of the game to see if it's worth your time (spoiler: it very much is).
