Update May 20th 8:46AM: It's looking like PlayStation Plus Classic games Trophy support will be a thing for at least some titles when they launch. A tweet from Syphon Filter developer Bend Studio has revealed that the stealth-action game will feature Trophies, including a Platinum trophy to collect. This has been in the works for some time; just over a year ago, Sony patented a system for awarding Trophies for "emulated games" (which is how your PS5 or PS4 will run Classic titles). Expect further PS1 and PSP Classic titles to have Trophies, too, although we'll have to wait for an official announcement for definitive confirmation. Original story follows below.
Original story: Sony has revealed its initial PlayStation Plus Premium game list lineup, as well as several other games making their way to the service when it gets a rework next month. Classic PS1 titles like Ape Escape join streamed PS3 games such as Demon's Souls, Infamous, and more.
What is the initial PlayStation Plus Premium game list that Sony has revealed?
Next month, the PlayStation Plus service is getting an overhaul, with three new subscription tiers replacing the current model. Now, Sony has revealed some of the games you can expect to enjoy if you decide to sign up to the service. The PlayStation Plus Premium game list includes a "Classic Games Catalog" which offers access to PS1 and PSP classics, as well as "some remastered classics from previous console generations". The Premium plan will also include PS3 game streaming via PlayStation Now, which will be retired as a separate service in June.
As well as this, some classics will include a "new user interface" with save states and rewind features. Sony has also confirmed that if you've already bought the digital versions of any of the PS3 and PSP classics it adds to the Plus Premium lineup (that is, if you purchased them via the PS3 or PSP store), you'll be able to redownload them from the PlayStation Store on PS4 and PS5. Some of these games will also be made available as separate purchases. Here's everything Sony has announced for Plus Premium members next month.

Finally, Premium subscribers will also get access to time-limited trials, which will allow you to play a trial of the full game for "two hours for most games", according to Sony. Only six games have been confirmed as time-limited trials so far, and here they are.

When will the PlayStation Plus revamp launch and how will it work?
The PlayStation Plus revamp will launch in North America on June 13th, with a launch in Europe to follow on June 22nd. By that time, the service will already have arrived in Asia (May 23rd) and Japan (June 1st). When it launches, you'll be able to subscribe across three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Essential will operate in a similar way to the current PS Plus subscription, with three monthly games, online play access, and exclusive discounts. Extra adds a catalog of PS4 and PS5 games to play, while Premium adds classics and streaming. Naturally, you'll pay more for each tier. Here's the current pricing.

- PlayStation Plus Premium: $17.99 a month or $119.99 a year
It's worth noting that the games listed above are just a selection of what will finally be available on Plus. Sony says that the lineup above will be constantly updated, too, so you can expect to see new games being added and old ones departing the service. Some notable exceptions, like Sony's baseball game MLB The Show 22, are notably absent from the service, although it's likely more games will be announced in June when the PlayStation Plus revamp arrives.
